History:
The shown robot is a "heavy" duty machine for the science fiction movie
with the working title "DANDELION PROJECT". This Low-Budget project
is in the planning and shall be realized as German production. The original
idea was given by Ralf Gerski and Thomas Heufken (Bochum), design & drawing
was done by Olaf Eichler (Bochum).

Technical Data:
Heavy duty machine with two-wheel drive;
flexible large working arm with replaceable hand tools;
2 smaller manipulating arms with own fibre optics;
power supply with battery pack on the back of the robot;
Height: 130cm; width/length : 150cm
- manipulating arms : 4 joints, 3 fingers, "hand" with light source and fibre optics

main sensor head : round head is extandable with a tentacle;
contains sensors for stereoscopic perception (optics, short range radar)
as well as acoustic sensors
