Samshel

Samshel, the fourth angel. He was ruler of the fourth heaven and Guardian of Eden.
But he was a Grigori as well, teaching mankind the secrets auf astrology and so he fell from grace.
In the series, he appears (episode 3) as a gigantic creature resembling a centipede maybe. His main weapon were some kind of energetic whiplashes that could slice everything apart. He impaled Unit-01 with them.
Shinji disobeyed a direct order to stay away from Samshel after that, engaged in close combat and, with his last energy (literally, Unit-01 was cut of his power-chord and was running on internal batteries), he managed to stab Samshel in the "heart". Both, angel and EVA then stopped moving, like a giant warrior-monument in the sunset...
